Movie Jannat-2?another crime thriller
After the rocking success of Jannat-1, now Jannat-2 is in the way for reminding its previous one. While crime thriller Jannat-1 was based on match fixing in cricket, it is based on illegal arms in Delhi.
After the mega hit and success of Jannat-1 in 2008, Jannat-2 is upcoming Bollywood crime thriller, which is to release on May. Like Jannat-1, Emraan Hashmi is in the lead role and ready to knock once again with his magnificent acting. Producer Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt’s the new movie has been directed by Kunal Deshmukh. First look of the movie was launched on 15th of March while is expected to hit theatres on 4 May 2012.
Initially title of the movie was decided as ‘informer’ and ‘blood money’. It was also decided that movie will not a sequel of Jannat-1 but later strategy was changed and witnessing the negative hope for these names, finally it was decided to the same name i.e. Jannat-2.
Randeep Hooda and Imran Zahid are the other actors in Jannat-2 while Esha Gupta is lead role opposite to Emraan. Shaguffta Arffique has written the story of the movie while Pritam Chakraborty composes the music.
While Jannat-1 was based on match fixing in cricket, Jannat-2 moves round illegal arms in the capital of India.
