Big B remembers 'benevolent' Achala Sachdev (Movie Snippets)

Mumbai, May 1 (IANS) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who worked with the late Achala Sachdev in "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", remembers her as a soft-hearted and benevolent human being.

 

"Deeply saddened to learn of the news of Achala Sachdevji passing away....was as benevolent and soft hearted in personal life as in the characters she played on screen... prayers and condolences!" Amitabh tweeted.

 

Bollywood's popular on-screen mother Achala passed away Sunday in Pune. She was 91.

Sonal Chauhan visits HIV positive kids

 

Bollywood actors like Salman Khan and John Abraham believes in supporting a cause that they have firm faith in. The latest to join the list is Sonal Chauhan.

 

The actress recently visited Suryodaya Aids Foundation in Pune and spent time with kids at the Foundation who are HIV positive.

 

She spoke to them about their hobbies, films and favourite actors. She even performed a little jig with the kids.

 

The kids were very glad to see her and one of the them even sang "Zarra Sa" from "Jannat" for Sonal.

 

Sonal was moved by their gesture and said that she "enjoyed spending time with the kids".

 

Meanwhile, on professional front, the actress is busy shooting with Neil Nitin Mukesh for "3G".

Neil laptop stolen

 

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh was upset after his laptop got stolen from the set while he was shooting.

 

"Good shoot. But really bumbbed out ! My directors and my laptops have got robbed from the set ! Grrrr ! Where the F is the honesty man!" Neil tweeted.

 

But he refused to reveal details about the project.

 

A day before Monday the actor was quite excited to start shooting for the same and tweeted: "Time to sleep friends early shoot time tomorrow. Shooting for a very interesting product which i'll introduce to u guys tomorrow ! Good nite."
