London, Aug 3 (ANI): A Brit woman was sacked after she refused sex on the beach with her boss.
Sharon Broadhurst told a tribunal in Liverpool that she was kicked out five minutes after turning down employer Paul Dewhurst sexual offers.
The 39-year-old mum-of-three had worked Dewhurst for sandwich shop and cleaning companies in Southport, Merseyside for nine months.
She said that they were with friends in a pub when her boss expressed his desire to take her to the beach.
"We had a few drinks. Paul said that he would like to take me to the beach. I knew very well that he meant for sex," the Mirror quoted her as saying.
He later rang to ask Sharon again and when she refused he returned to the pub and fired her.
The tribunal in Liverpool unanimously found in favour of Broadhurst's sexual discrimination claim.
However, Dewhurst, who did not attend the tribunal, claimed he sacked Sharon because she was "unprofessional". (ANI)
