London, Jan 9 (IANS) Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse, who is holidaying on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, is increasingly becoming a nuisance for the other tourists there.
Thesun.co.uk reports that Winehouse flew into a rage during dinner at a posh resort and hurled a glass of water at a woman. Initially she refused to say sorry, but later apologised to avoid having the cops being called.
Commenting on the incident, Winehouse's spokesman said: 'She misunderstood a conversation and wrongly believed a slight was made. The matter has been resolved.'
Winehouse has apparently extended her stay for a week, but other guests on the island are fed up of the singer.
'Everyone wants her (Winehouse) to disappear. Her attack on this guest was the last straw. She walks around in the same grimy bikini bottoms each day with her boobs on show, gets drunk, gropes waiters and is rude to male staff. She's hardly the most popular guest,' said a source.
Another source added: 'Some staff have started singing their own version of rehab under their breath when she's around. But they altered the chorus to sing, 'Just go, go, go'.'
