India colts hold Argentina 2-2 in hockey test

Buenos Aires, Dec 12 (IANS) A late strike by Pramod Kumar helped India colts draw 2-2 with Argentina in their third hockey Test here.

 

India took the lead in the 32nd minute through Mandip Antil and went into the breather 1-0.

 

 

Argentina fought back in the second half and pumped in two goals through penalty corners in the 64th and 67th minutes. Guido Barreiros was the striker in both the occasions.

 

 

India wasted as many as six penalty corners with expert drag flicker and skipper Diwakar Ram not in good touch.

 

 

India pushed hard to find the equaliser and Pramod struck a minute before the whistle to make in 2-2.

 

 

India won the first match and has drawn two in the four-match series.
