Islamabad, June 29 (ANI): Experts from Pakistan and Iran have covered and finalized all aspects of the gas sale and purchase agreement (GSPA) and signing of the 7.4 billion dollar deal on the Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas pipeline project could now move ahead.
The Daily Times quoted Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, who is leading the Pakistani delegation at the talks with his Iranian counterpart Gholam Hossein Nozari, as saying that an agreement on this score had been reached at the 17th Session of the Pak-Iran Joint Economic Commission.
Nozari said that Qamar's visit would go a long way in promoting bilateral co-operation between the two countries.
The Iranian side also indicated that Iran would soon host a trilateral meeting in Tehran - which would include India's Petroleum Minister Murli Deora - to finalise the proposed IPI gas deal. (ANI)
