Jakarta, Nov 9 (DPA) Indonesia executed early Sunday three Muslim militants convicted for their roles in the 2002 Bali bombing by firing squad, media reports said.
Imam Samudra, Amrozi and Ali Ghufron alias Mukhlas were executed simultaneously by firing squads shortly after midnight Saturday, the television network TvOne said.
The execution took place on Nusakambangan Island where the men were being held, the report said, citing an anonymous source.
The Bali bombings killed 202 people, most of them foreign visitors.
