Tally shows Obama with 175-76 electoral lead

Americas, Wed, 05 Nov 2008 IANS

Washington, Nov 5 (DPA) Democrat Barack Obama was holding a 175 to 76 lead over Republican John McCain in the electoral college, bringing him to within less than 100 votes to capture the White House, according to projections by major US news networks.
