Nine killed in Colombia bus accident

Bogota, Oct 27 (IANS) Nine people were killed and six others injured when the bus in which they were travelling veered off the road and fell into a ravine in northeastern part of Colombia, Spain's EFE reported Monday.
The accident occurred Sunday in Santander province, the police said.
The injured were rushed to hospitals in La Aguda and El Guacamayo cites of the province.
The police said the driver lost control of the bus after the vehicle developed a technical problem.
