Jeev finishes tied 39th, Double delight for Wagner
PGTI member Jeev Milkha Singh ended his PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open campaign on a modest note as he finished at tied 39th position after carding the day on one-under 71 in the final round at Redstone Golf Club on Sunday.
It could have been a bad day for Jeev but it was surely a super Sunday for the eventual winner American Johnson Wagner.

It was a double delight for Wagner as his first PGA Tour’s victory earned him a berth in the Augusta Masters.
The overnight leader after round three with fifteen under 201 Wagner sustained the impetus in the final round as well. Wagner pocketed the largest ever $1,008,000 winner's purse in the history of Shell Houston Open.
Wagner closed in towards the title after scoring a one-under 71 in the final round to end the day with a 16-under-par total of 272 and win the Shell Houston Open by two shots over Chad Campbell and Geoff Ogilvie.
"Sounds funny, you know, even saying it," The overjoyed Wagner quoted in PGA tour website. "I don't care if I shoot 90 both days and miss the cut. I'm so excited to be there and it's just a dream come true."
Jeev’s even par 72 in the third round of the PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open placed him on 52nd but a final round 71 on Sunday put him in tied 39th position. Jeev pocketed $21,280 for his show.
Jeev came up with four birdies in comparison to his three bogeys as he played par or under for three of the four days. Jeev birdied the fourth and eighth before adding birdies successively on 12th and 13th. He also dropped shots on the sixth and the 13th.
