Chennai, Nov. 13 (ANI): India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Prithi Narayanan in Chennai on Sunday.
Ashwin exchanged garlands at a low-key gathering, restricted to family members and close friends.
The debutant spinner recently mowed down West Indies in the first Test cricket match in New Delhi by grabbing nine wickets, prompting selectors to retain him for the second Test to be played in Kolkata.
Ashwin would resume playing for India on November 14, where he will battle it out against West Indies in the second test in Kolkata.
The 25-year old spinner made his ODI and Twenty20 debut last year. He also plays for Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings. (ANI)
