Melbourne, Oct 23 (ANI): An Australian drunken Catholic priest has been busted driving with .341 alcohol reading - one of the highest blood-alcohol levels allegedly recorded in recent times.
Father Peter Jones, 58, a priest at St Patrick's Parish in South Grafton, was stopped by the police criss-crossing lanes on the Pacific Highway and subjected to a breath-test which returned an off-the-chart reading of "+.5", the highest possible reading the breathalyser can handle, the Daily Telegraph reported.
When he was taken back to the nearby Maclean police station, the priest returned a 0.341 reading.
Fr Jones was bailed by another priest, and has been issued a future court attendance notice. (ANI)
