Washington, Oct 19 (ANI): PETA has called for federal investigation against physician Conrad Murray, who tested the drug Propofol on Beagle dogs to help him with his case in the Michael Jackson death trial.
PETA has claimed that the test would have caused "enormous suffering in the animals", Radar Online reported.
The shocking revelation that Dr. Conrad Murray's defense team tested the drug Propofol on Beagle dogs had outraged PETA so much so, that they were impelled to take this action against him.
"I cannot imagine any use for this information at all," Radar Online quoted PETA's Vice President of Laboratory Kathy Guillermo as saying.
"These tests cause enormous suffering in animals," he added.
PETA had filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Monday. (ANI)
