London, Aug 21(ANI): Eoin Morgan is set to captain England's one-day side against the country of his birth - Ireland.
Morgan will take charge when they play Ireland in a one-match in Dublin on Thursday.
Regular ODI captain Alastair Cook and a host of big names have been rested.
England coach Andy Flower will also take a break, with assistant coach Richard Halsall standing in.
"The squad we're looking to take to Ireland involves a number of exciting young England players as we rest several players currently involved in the Test series against India," the Sun quoted England national selector Geoff Miller, as saying.
"By resting several players that have played international cricket since the start of the summer the opportunity has arisen for a number of talented up and coming players to continue their development on the international stage," he added. (ANI)
