New Delhi, July 20 (ANI): Union Home Secretary R.K. Singh will be leaving for Thimphu tomorrow to attend the fourth meeting of Home Secretaries of the SAARC nations to be held July 22.
The meeting will review the progress made in the implementation of the decisions taken at the third meeting of the SAARC Secretaries of Interior/Home held on June 25, 2010 at Islamabad.
Progress made in the implementation of the SAARC regional convention on suppression of terrorism and the SAARC convention on narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances will also be reviewed during the meeting.
The meeting of Interior/Home Secretaries will be followed by the fourth meeting of SAARC Interior/ Home Ministers on July 23, 2011. Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram will be attending this meeting, an official release said. (ANI)
