Posh and Becks' Beckingham Palace sold for 11.3 million pounds

London, Sun, 16 Mar 2014 ANI

London, Mar.16 (ANI): David and Victoria Beckham's Beckingham Palace mansion has been reportedly bought by a British insurance tycoon for 11.3 million pounds.

Insurance entrepreneur Neil Utley 52, and his wife Narmali, 46, have apparently bought the Beckingham Palace and its sprawling 17-acre super-estate, the Mirror reported.

Utley, who was listed at number 462 in the 2012 Sunday Times Rich List, is planning to make few changes to the seven- bed home in Hertfordshire.

Soccer legend David, 38, and former Spice Girl Victoria, 39, raised three of their four children at the Hertfordshire home when the couple bought it for 2.5 million pounds, three months after their wedding in 1999.

The Beckhams had been trying to sell the swanky property for nearly four years as they used to spend very little time there following their move to the US in 2007. (ANI)
