Collaboration with One Direction can happen: Sykes

United Kingdom,Cinema/Showbiz, Thu, 08 Aug 2013 IANS

London, Aug 8 (IANS) Singer Nathan Sykes, who is part of The Wanted band, does not rule out a future collaboration with rival One Direction band. He says such tie-ups between rival bands have happened in the past.

The Wanted band also consists of Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George and Jay McGuiness. The members have exchanged harsh words with One Direction band members time and again.

However, Sykes says this does not mean there won't be any collaboration, especially when popular rival bands like Backsteet boys and New Kids On The Block have also done some great work together, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"You never know. What the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block did was really cool, so you never know," Sykes said.

"As far as I'm concerned, whatever kinds of words were said, I think it kind of went away now, which is awesome," he added.

One Direction band comprises Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.
