Whatmore backs Misbah's batting skills

Karachi, May 22 (ANI): Pakistan cricket team coach Dav Whatmore has backed captain Misbah-ul-Haq's batting skills.

PakPassion quoted Whatmore as saying that Misbah has inspired other batsmen with his efforts and performance, although rotation and change in the battiing order is always an open option.

Whatmore said that Misbah's enthusiastic zeal has motivated other players to bring the same passion to their batting.

Whatmore further said he believes Misbah has proved his worth in seven one-day internationals at an average of just under 70 by scoring 349 runs and contributing enormously to Pakistan's victories on the cricket field. (ANI)
