London, May 10 (ANI): Everton manager David Moyes plans to swim under the pressure by introducing grueling training sessions for the players when he will turn up as Manchester United's manager, replacing Alex Ferguson after 26 glorious years at the helm.

With Moyes succeeding the most successful football manager, the Carrington Training Ground will look more like a boot camp, the Sun reports.

Ferguson has insisted that his eventual successor must leave his own mark and not ape him, though he acknowledged that Moyes will certainly give the players a rude awakening by putting them into tough training practices.

Everton skipper and Captain Philip Neville noted that Moyes' regular training sessions will ensure the players test themselves to their limits so that the match becomes easier.

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright praised Moyes' attempts, saying that the training sessions are almost like an army boot camp for the players which enable them to be a squad packed with spirit and togetherness through adversity and hard times.

Moyes has reportedly rebuilt Everton after it had a shocking start by losing eight games and being disqualified for two European competitions.

The report further said that the amount of training the players are bound to receive might leave them complaining, but with Moyes' aims to put fitness high on his list of priorities, the players will soon be acquainted with their fitness levels and the output expectations.

Former Man United ace Mark Hughes believes that United will never be devoid of spirit, determination and willingness to work for each other and its significance will reach even higher limits under the new boss. (ANI)
