Washington, Apr. 26 (ANI): Barbara Bush, the wife of former US President George H.W. Bush, has said two presidents in her immediate family is enough.
The former First Lady and matriarch of the Bush family said on NBC's "Today" show that her son Jeb Bush is by far the best qualified man, but did not want him to run for presidency.
According to Politico, Barbara's response came after she was asked whether she wanted her son Jeb to run for president.
She said that she thought it's a great country. There are a lot of great families, and it's not just four families, or whatever. There are other people out there that are very qualified. 'We've had enough Bushes'.
Barbara also said Jeb, a former Florida governor, would be hamstrung as a candidate by his brother and father's tenures in the Oval Office, the report added. (ANI)
