Washington, Apr. 26 (ANI): Republican Tom Cotton has expressed grave doubts about the Obama administration's counter-terrorism policies and programmes.
Cotton took to the House floor on Wednesday and said 'counterterrorism is often shrouded in secrecy, as it should be.
The freshman congressman from Arkansas said that in barely four years in office, five jihadists have reached their targets in the United States under Barack Obama: the Boston Marathon bomber, the underwear bomber, the Times Square Bomber, the Fort Hood shooter, and in my own state - the Little Rock recruiting office shooter, the Washington Times reports.
He questioned how many terrorists reached their targets in America in over seven years after 9/11 under George W. Bush.
He added that why was the Obama administration failing in its mission to stop terrorism before it reaches its targets in the United States?
The nation's five living presidents gathered in Dallas Thursday to dedicate the George W. Bush Presidential Center in honor of the 43rd president.
The ceremony was the first gathering of the presidents since January 2009, when they met at the White House before Obama's inauguration. (ANI)
