London, April 22 (IANS) Actor-songwriter Michael Buble says when he fights with his wife Luisana in public, he speaks Spanish so that nobody can understand.
"Two languages are very handy. When we fight in front of my friends, I'll smile and say to her, 'En verdad, no estay contendo. Eres una gran perra'. 'My friends'll say, 'Aww, that's so cute'. But in reality, I'm telling Luisana that she's being a massive *****," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Buble as saying.
Although Buble might think he's learning enough to get by, he admitted his wife isn't quite as impressed with his progress.
"Luisana and I didn't share a language when we first met. She didn't speak much English, and I didn't speak much Spanish. But I've been learning it and I'm getting pretty good - although Lu says I still sound like a caveman," he added.
The "Haven't Met You Yet" singer won't be disagreeing with her anytime soon, conceding she is definitely the boss in their relationship.
"Luisana is the alpha in our marriage, so I've learned it's easier to just do as she says," he said.
