Murray warns Scots against making 'emotional snap decision' on nation's independence

Glasgow, Mar 31 (ANI): Tennis star Andy Murray has warned Scottish people not to make an emotional snap decision on going independent because it might go tits up.

The World No 3 made his colorful intervention in the independence debate in a wide-ranging interview, the Newsscotsman.com reports.

Although the Dunblane-raised sportsman did not indicate which way he will vote in next year's referendum, he made clear that his head would rule his heart.

Murray said one need to figure out what's best for the country and then come to an opinion.

Murray added you want to read more about the issue, adding he doesn't think you should judge the thing on emotion, but on what is best economically for Scotland.

Murray further said you don't want to come to a snap decision and then see the country go tits up. (ANI)
