Islamabad, March 12 (IANS) A suicide bomber Tuesday rammed his explosives-laden motorbike into a police mobile unit van in Pakistan's northwest tribal region, killing two policemen and injuring 18 other people, a media report said.
The attack took place around 1 p.m. outside a police station in Saddar area of Bannu, a volatile district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Xinhua reported.
The police mobile unit van was carrying five officials, and was targeted by the suicide bomber as soon as it left the police station for routine patrolling.
There were three policemen among the injured.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
