Hayden backs 'axed' Sehwag to work hard for India Test team comeback

Mumbai, Mar 7 (ANI): Australian batting great Mathew Hayden has backed Virender Sehwag to regain his spot in the Indian Test team by working hard after getting dropped from the Test squad for the remaining two Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar trophy.

However, Hayden backed Indian selectors decision to drop Sehwag, saying at times hard decision are necessary for a team to move forward.

Hayden claimed form is a temporary issue for any classy player like Sehwag, adding he was sure that the Delhi opener would work his way in the Indian Test team in coming times.

Hayden added swashbuckling Sehwag is one of the players that he would pay to see playing alongside batting greats Ricky Ponting, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara. (ANI)
