Johannesburg, Feb 28 (ANI): Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius had been given a clean chit from doping charges by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), who said that it has already been made aware of the substance found in Pistorius bedroom and that it was not banned.

This came after Pistorius representatives claimed that the substance found in the sprinter's bedroom during the investigation of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp's death was a herbal sex remedy called Testis compositum, instead of testosterone, Sport24 reports.

Stating that the substance appeared to be a homeopathic remedy, WADA said that such treatments are not on the prohibited list of banned substances and treatments, thereby absolving Pistorius from the guilt of using a banned substance.

However, Pistorius's lawyers did not specify whether the product they named was the same one marketed in the US as a sexual enhancer, instead of the one which is also marketed online in both oral and injectable forms as a testosterone booster, the report added. (ANI)
