Johannesburg, Feb 21 (ANI): The family of Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius has said that they are satisfied with his bail hearing on Wednesday.
Pistorius' PR company Stuart Higgins Communications stated that his family has defended the athlete, saying that he is innocent, and added that they are satisfied with the outcome of the proceedings on Wednesday with reference to Pistorius's bail hearing, News24 reports.
The statement further added that the investigating officer Hilton Botha had confirmed during cross examination that the known ballistic and forensic evidence found on the scene where Reeva Steenkamp lost her life was consistent with Pistorius' version of events that the incident was a tragic accident.
Pistorius was arrested on Valentine's Day after his model and law graduate girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was shot dead at his home in Silver Woods country estate, in Pretoria. (ANI)
