Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings encounter washed out

It was the 2nd game of ongoing IPL that got washed out all thanks to the downpour. This time it was the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings that was to take place in M.A.Chinaswamy stadium of Bangalore.

Both CSK and RCB got 1 point each to take them to 3rd and 4th position respectively. Only the toss took place that to after a delay of almost an hour. Virat Kohli who came out as captain said Vettory had a niggle and he was replaced by Andrew Mc Donald. As soon as Kohli won the toss and decided to field rain started coming down again.

At 11 pm match was called off as it hadn't stop raining and both team got shared a point each.

Albie Morkel also came back from South Africa and he and Yo Mahesh replaced Doug Bollinger and Shadab Jakati.

Before this game the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers that was to be played in Eden Gardens also got washed out.
