London, November 5 (ANI): Abbey Clancy, the wife of Premier League star Peter Crouch, has admitted that being a footballer's wife is no easy ride.
The 26-year-old has said that she has become a grafter: bringing up a baby with no nanny while pursuing a career as a model and a TV presenter.
"I had some time off afterwards but I'm back now. Being married to a footballer is some girls' dream but it isn't always like that. I work," Abbey, , who gave birth to Sophia 19 months ago, told the People.
"I will be up at 8am making spaghetti bolognese for Peter and Sophia's evening meal if I'm working that day. I may not get back for the evening and I worry if I don't do that then they won't eat anything.
"Peter is rubbish at housework, unless I suppose I need a bulb changing. Then he comes in very handy. Otherwise I do everything around the house. I'm working too and it is hard graft," she added. (ANI)
