Washington, Oct. 25 (ANI): The reward for the safe return of a 10-month-old Indian baby which has gone missing in Pennsylvania has risen to 50,000 dollars, US authorities have announced.
Earlier, US officials announced a reward of 30,000 dollars for information on Saanvi Venna, who has been missing from her parents' King of Prussia apartment in Montgomery County.
It has been three full days since Venna, daughter of Indian American Telegu parents, was last seen after she was taken from the apartment where her paternal grandmother, who was baby-sitting her, was killed.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) now on the hunt on the whereabouts of the baby.
"We hope that Saanvi is returned so we can all celebrate her birthday . . . together," Philadelphia Insider quoted Prasad Sanikommu, a cousin of the baby's father, as saying during a candlelight vigil for Saanvi.
According to the report, the Citizens' Crime Commission of Delaware Valley, the Upper Merion Township Police Department, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, and the Telugu Association of North America, an Indian group, announced the reward for information that could lead to the baby's safe return.
