Six killed in Pakistan drone strike
Islamabad, Oct 11 (IANS) At least six people were killed and many injured Thursday in a drone strike in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region.
The atrike took place in Orakzai, Xinhua reported.
Geo News said the drone fired four missiles at an Islamic seminary led by Maulvi Shakirullah, who is reportedly affiliated with the Haqqani network.
The Haqqani network is a Taliban-linked group of militants that operates from North Waziristan in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
In around 30 drone strikes in Pakistan in 2012, more than 200 people have reportedly been killed.
