Sanaa, Thu, 13 Sep 2012 ANI

Sanaa, Sept. 13 (Xinhua-ANI): Dozens of protesters were wounded Thursday morning in clashes with Yemeni security forces as the protesters stormed the U.S. embassy in Sanaa.

Protesters set fire to a number of diplomatic vehicle as well as part of the building as security forces used water cannons and warning shots in a bid to drive them out.

Clashes erupted between protesters and Yemeni security forces inside and around the U.S. embassy in Yemen's capital Sanaa after hundreds of demonstrators stormed the embassy as part of widespread anger across the Muslim world over a U.S.-made movie that insults Prophet Mohammed. (Xinhua-ANI)
