London, Sep 12 (ANI): Football pundit and former Welsh international Robbie Savage mocked Michael Vaughan's hair transplant on Tuesday.
"I hope he can keep that squirrel on his head when he's dancing," the Daily Star quoted Savage, as saying.
The term is used to describe a patch of hair grown to use in a transplant procedure, and Vaughan became the face of a hair loss advertising campaign in 2009 after his transplant.
The floppy-haired former footballer poked fun at the ex-cricketer who has signed up for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Savage said: "My advice would be, it's not all about the dancing. That's what you come to realise. It's about your persona and selling the dances."
To this Vaughan replied: "Was that your excuse? It's not all about the dancing? All you need to do when you're struggling is grab your crown jewels, that's all you did mate."
But Savage hit back: "As a sportsman you get known by a certain audience, or in Michael's case one man and his dog at county cricket. But when he's at Strictly all the grandmas will get to know him and it will change his life."
Michael said he was finding training tough even though it has only been two days. "I retired from cricket because I had a dodgy knee and my footwork wasn't so good, so dancing is testing me." (ANI)
