London, Sep 9 (ANI): Olympic champion cyclist Bradley Wiggins has said he hates being famous, and no one would give a f*** about him after a certain period of time.

Bradley won gold for Team GB in the road time trial in one of the most historic moments of the Games.

"No one will give a f**k about me in ten years. I try not to get involved with the whole fame thing. That's not what it's about for me," the Daily Star quoted Wiggins, as saying.

"I haven't got used to being famous at all, but I know it will all die down anyway," he added.

Bradley, 32, known to fans as Wiggo, won his first Olympic medal twelve years ago in Sydney and has been popular ever since.

But he insisted: "I have to remember that in ten years' time no one will give a f**k about me. It'll be someone else that's come along that everyone is talking about. People will move on, I realise that."

During his career, Bradley has racked up seven medals, including four golds, which meant that he holds the title of most decorated British Olympian alongside fellow cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, the report said. (ANI)
