London, August 20 (ANI): Emeli Sande, who performed at the opening as well as closing Olympic ceremony, has seen her album 'Our Version Of Events' climb to the top of the charts.

While Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk' dropped to number eight, Sande, who sang 'Read All About It' at the closing ceremony, moved from four to one.

Elbow, who performed twice at the ceremony, also won a sales boost with their album moving from 139 to six.

In addition, their track 'One Day Like This' shot up the singles chart to four, the BBC reported.

The Spice Girls' one-off reunion at the show also saw their greatest hits compilation climb the album chart from 164 to number 18.

A remix of Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill', which was played at Sunday's ceremony, prompted the single to enter the top 10 at number six while her compilation album, 'The Whole Story', climbed from number 92 to number 21.

Rita Ora's 'How We Do (Party)' topped the singles chart. (ANI)
