London, July 27(ANI): Olympic champion Usain Bolt has sent a thundering warning to any athlete aiming to beat him at the 100m event in London Olympics, saying his rivals would need to run the fastest race of their career to beat him, and also reiterated his desire to become a legend.

"I think this is going to be the best ever 100m final. Hands down, for sure, this could be the fastest race anyone has ever seen. There are a lot of guys out there running quick times, you expect that in an Olympic year," The Daily Mirror quoted Bolt, as saying.

"I have just one aim - to run the fastest to win. That is always my aim, that is what I have trained two and a half years for. Now I am ready," he added.

The Jamaican sprinter further added: "My ultimate aim is to be a legend. Everyone knows that." (ANI)
