Islamabad, July 12 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale struck Pakistan Thursday night but there were no reports of damage and casualties.
The tremor occurred around 7.00 p.m., Xinhua quoted the meteorological department as saying. The epicentre was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
The quake was felt in Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore and other places.
