London, June 22(ANI): Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has said they are ready to face any team in the Euro Cup semifinal after knocking out Czech Republic 1-0 in the quarterfinal.
Ronaldo netted the winning goal for Portugal through a header in the 79th minute before hitting the woodwork twice during the match and seeing his team have a goal chalked out for offside.
Portugal, who came through the Group of Death behind Germany, will now face either France or world and European champions Spain in Donetsk on June 27.he Real Madrid star his team is confident and ready to win at the semifinal.
"We created many chances and hit the post, but it is brilliant for us to have passed into the semi-finals," The Daily Mirror quoted Ronaldo, as saying.We know it is going to be difficult, but we are ready, we are confident. We are very mature, so we are ready for the fight," he added. (ANI)
