Islamabad, June 22 (ANI): Pakistani ambassadors to the United Nations, United States and Britain among other countries are facing legal and diplomatic problems after the disqualification of Yousuf Raza Gilani as Pakistan's prime minister.
Various questions are being raised regarding jobs and posts of the ambassadors after the ineligibility of Gilani, reports The News.
Pakistan's Ambassador to the U.S. Sherry Rehman, who has been holding the status of federal minister, which ended after dissolution of the parliament, has said she was categorically directed to continue her work till the next order. Meanwhile, ambassador to the UN Hussain Haroon said he is tendering resignation and will wait till its approval or to receive further directives. (ANI)
