Washington, June 19 (ANI): Hilary Duff has been dragged into a nasty legal spat by a motorist, whom she allegedly left injured following a car accident in 2010.
According to TMZ, Hilary was driving around in the California city on December 12, 2010 when she smashed her Range Rover into the back of another car driven by Rachel Owens, Contactmusic reported.
Owens, who filed the case in Los Angeles, has now requested damages for the mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering she suffered as a result of the crash.
Owens claimed that multiple doctors and surgeons had to treat her for unspecified conditions, which prevented her from working.
In the papers filed, Owens anticipated that she will be "prevented from attending her usual occupation for a period of time in the future".
She is suing the singer for unspecified damages. (ANI)
