London, May 14 (ANI): David Beckham found himself red faced when fans at the Olympic Stadium in Canada began singing songs from Victoria's former band 'Spice Girls'.
The soccer ace was recording an interview with ESPN when the crowd spontaneously broke into his wife's songs, which left him cringing.
The LA Galaxy player who saved his team from defeat in the match against the Montreal Impact was seen drying sweat from his face with a towel as 60,860 football fans sang tunes by the 90s super group, the Daily Mail reported.
Although the 37-year-old didn't seem impressed with the crowd's vocal performance, he remained professional and continued with his interview for the sports channel.
During the match Beckham wowed a record crowd in Canada with a trademark free kick to earn MLS champions Los Angeles Galaxy a vital point.
The midfielder bent in a free kick in the 62nd minute to secure a 1-1 draw against the Montreal Impact on Sunday.
There was a mix of boos and cheers each time Beckham played the ball, even when he scored on one of his trademark free kicks that curled inside the right post from 23 yards.
Beckham's second goal of the season came six minutes after he was shown a yellow card for an elbow to the face of Felipe Martins. (ANI)
