London, May 11(ANI): FIFA is set to give a go ahead to use the much talked about goal-line technology in the English Premier League during the 2013-14 season.

According to The Sun, the goal-line technology would cost each club around 250,000 pounds.

Experts from the FIFA were at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium yesterday to test the Hawk-Eye system.

Some 14 cameras would film the goal line, and a signal is then sent to the referee and his assistants within one second through a specially developed watch. (ANI)
