Nancy Dell'Olio slammed for questioning classy Duchess Kate's style

London, May 11 (ANI): Nancy Dell'Olio's fashion disasters make her the last person to be giving advice to the Duchess of Cambridge, Deputy Fashion Editor Claire Brayford has said.

Although both the women are brunettes, only one has transformed the fortunes of more high street and designer brands than any other woman in Britain today.

Duchess Kate's every dress and shoe selection has shoppers around the world stampeding within seconds to recreate her style, yet the property lawyer has taken it upon herself not just to criticise the her but the style of every woman in Britain.

Instead of hitting the headlines for her questionable dance moves, choice in men or attention-seeking wardrobe, ex-girlfriend of former England football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has decided to set herself up as a one-woman judge and jury of the fashion world.

Her first victim is the Duchess of Cambridge, who she claims is conservative beyond her years.

"She is only 30. She doesn't have to dress like the Queen yet," th Daily Express quoted her as saying.

The vocal Italian is even less impressed by Kate's sister Pippa.

Dell'Olio said this regardless of the fact that she was described as an "Avatar of aspiration" in TIME magazine's latest 100 most influential people in the world list, and not to mention being voted No11 in FHM magazine's World's Sexiest Women poll.

"There is nothing she has worn since the royal wedding last year that has caught my attention," she said.

Warming to her theme Nancy goes on to sink her teeth into Samantha Cameron.

She claims the ambassador for the British Fashion Council and front-row fixture at every key London Fashion Week show also has a dull dress sense, dismissing the floor-length lace Alessandra Rich gown that she Cameron wore to the White house earlier this year.

"So strange. Maybe David, he tell her to cover up," she said.

She even commented on Kate Moss. Despite pushing 40 the supermodel is one of Vogue's most prolific cover girls. She is enjoying her 32nd cover on the newsstands this month and has provided endless inspiration to photographers, artists, designers and stylists.

If that were not ludicrous enough Nancy then goes on to extend her criticism to almost all of the women in the UK.

"There are a lot of beautiful women in Britain but time and time again what you see is not their good looks but the fact that they don't know how to dress.

"They are scared to be feminine, to be sexy, to be glamorous," she added. (ANI)
