Zardari, Altaf discuss strategy with MQM for Senate polls

Karachi, Feb 23(ANI): Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has agreed to enhance cooperation between the Pakistan People Party (PPP) and the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) for the Senate polls and the general election.

 

Zardari spoke to MQM chief Altaf Hussain on phone from Dubai, The Dawn reports.

 

Both leaders discussed plans for a joint strategy for the Senate and general elections.

 

Zardari also congratulated Hussain on the MQM hosting a women's public meeting in Karachi.

 

Zardari is expected to return to Pakistan today. (ANI)
