Keith Andrews slams Venky's for Rovers fall from grace

London, Feb 2(ANI): Keith Andrews who handed a transfer request to Blackburn Rovers and joined West Bromwich Albion just minutes before the end of the transfer window, has slammed the Indian owners of Blackburn Rovers.

He said the fans were not happy with the takeover by the Venky's and the reason behind it is quite evident.

"The fans aren't happy with the takeover, and I can see why. With the players who have left, and the players who have come in, the club is going in one direction and that's down," The Sun quoted Andrews, as saying.

He said he couldn't even stand the thought of staying with Rovers for a minute longer. (ANI)
