New York, July 27 (ANI): Larissa Riquelme, the Paraguayan model who promised to run naked in support of her home team at the FIFA World Cup, has been robbed.
The 25-year-old stunner Riquelme was attacked in Rio de Janiero. She was carrying her phone, passport, and digital cameras that were stolen, according to the Huffington Post.
After the news was reported, Riquelme thanked her fans on Twitter for their support and well wishes.
"Yesterday I was assaulted. Luckily I am super fine. Seriously, thank you for your support," she tweeted.
The lingerie model rose to fame when she promised to run naked on the streets of Paraguay if her team won the FIFA World Cup.
Riquelme won the hearts of men when she decided to run naked even after Paraguay crashed out of the World Cup.
"It will be a present to all of the players, and for all the people in Paraguay to enjoy," The New York Daily News quoted Riquelme as saying. (ANI)
