Bollywood film 'Hijack' hits theaters
Mumbai, Sept 5 (ANI): Bollywood flick 'Hijack', a film revolving around a plane hijacked by terrorists, released across the country on Friday.
The film made under the banner of "Eros International" in association with Aliya Motion Magic, deals with the 'mid air' drama.
Lead female character, Esha Deol revealed that as a child she aspired to be a pilot and is excited about her role of an airhostess in the movie.
"The very name suggests that it is a hijack story in which terrorists hijack a plane. I play the role of a airhostess who is called Saira and she is very brave," said Esha Deol.
The film that has quite a few action packed stunts also portrays the wonderful father-daughter relationship and the extent to which a father goes to save his daughter who is one of the passengers in the hijacked aeroplane.
Shiney Ahuja, the lead actor said that despite being action packed it is a family film.
" It's also a family film. It portrays the beautiful relationship between a father and a daughter. It has good action stunts. I hope you people go and enjoy the film," said Ahuja.
Kunal Shivdasani who is making his debut as a director with this film that stars Shiney Ahuja, Esha Deol, KK Raina, Mona Ambegaonkar and Kaveri Jha was visibly excited about his maiden venture.
"I have seen the film two days ago. Its looking pretty good. I hope the audience enjoyed as much as I have enjoyed," said Shivdasani.
The film has been extensively shot at Ras al-Khema, located at a distance of 150 kilometers from Dubai.
Kunal Shivdasani and Gavendra Agarwal have written the story. The screenplay of the film and the latest entrants from ad industry - Justin Uday have composed music of the film. (ANI)
