Inter-Milan's Samuel believes he can choke Chelsea's Drogba

London, Feb.23 (ANI): Inter-Milan's Walter Samuel believes he can choke Chelsea's red-hot Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba.

"Marking a centre-forward like Drogba is difficult - but if we remain tight to him he will always have problems receiving the ball. We'll have to do this kind of limited work but that's the best route to victory," The Sun quoted Samuel, as saying.

The man tasked with stopping one of the Premier League's hottest strikers was sent off in Serie A at the weekend.

Leaders Inter slipped up in a 0-0 home draw, finishing with nine men against Sampdoria.

Chelsea stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points as Drogba netted twice to see off Wolves at Molineux.

But Samuel, who is still eligible to play in Europe, insists that will have no bearing on tomorrow night or the decisive second leg at Stamford Bridge on March 16.

He added: "We need to concentrate for 180 minutes of the tie and not become distracted because we're talking about a team that at any time can win a game with its individuals, especially in attack."

"Everything will be decided at Stamford Bridge, but I have the feeling that we'll go to the second game ahead in the tie," he added.

Samuel, who has more than 50 Argentina caps, is adamant Inter do not fear free-scoring Chelsea but admits they are the last team he wanted to play at this stage of the tournament. (ANI)
