Palin's daughter's boyfriend called himself a 'redneck'

Washington, Sept.3 (ANI): The lad expecting a baby with the teen daughter of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has labelled himself "a ******* redneck".

High school ice hockey player Levi Johnston, 18, who is engaged to Bristol Palin, 17, used his MySpace web page to declare: "I don't want kids." He adds: "Ya **** with me I'll kick your ass."

According to The Sun, Johnston's comments will pour more embarrassment on John McCain, who denies claims he had failed to look into Sarah Palin's background before naming her as his running mate.

Bristol's pregnancy was revealed after a string of rumors suggested Trig, the five-month-old son of Sarah Palin, 44, was actually her grandson.

Last night it emerged that Johnston had left his home in Alaska to join the Palin family for the big event in St. Paul's Minnesota.

His mum Sherry said no pressure had been put on her son to marry Bristol and that the pair had plans to wed before it was known she was pregnant.(ANI)
