London, Sept 1 (ANI): Reunited rock band The Verve has topped the UK albums chart with their first release in eleven years.
The group's 'Forth' has beaten Heavy metal band Slipknot bow, which landed the second spot with new album 'All Hope Is Gone', reports BBC.
Irish trio The Script slipped to third position with their self-titled debut.
Meanwhile, US singer Katy Perry Katy Perry has maintained her hold over the UK singles chart, notching up a fourth week at No.1 with 'I Kissed A Girl'.
The highest new entry of the week comes from Eric Prydz, the Swedish DJ who topped the charts in 2004 with 'Call On Me', whose new single 'Pjanoo' lands in second position.
Rihanna climbs a place to third with 'Disturbia', while Irish trio The Script fall to fourth with 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved'.
